Why You Need a Website!

Posted on January 12, 2023January 13, 2023 by Virgilio Alvaran

At Least 10 Reasons Why, says Dianna Gunn/Themeisle

I am not going to reinvent the wheel. Diana Gunn has written in https://themeisle.com/blog/do-i-need-a-website-for-my-business/ an outstanding article on why we, and our own businesses, need one.

I strongly suggest you read the full article. I will just highlight here the 10 points she mentioned. I will not reproduce her full discussions, but I will add my comments [in brackets.]

1. A website makes you look professional. [It adds credibility to your business.]

2. Your website can attract new customers through Google. [And other search engines (a) if you get page 1 ranking based on relevant contents–this should cost you nothing (except your time), or (b) if you have some form of “pay-per-click” advertising.]

3. You can clearly showcase your products and services. [Like this is you electronic storefront, or virtual office.]

4. You can display your best reviews and testimonials prominently on your website. [You need help here from your satisfied customers to give their testimonials.]

5. A website can encourage customers to contact you. [Through the “Contact Us” form in your website, or alternatively your published email address or contact telephone number.]

6. You can integrate your website with Google Maps so people can find you more easily. [Generate foot traffic, &/r more in-person visits.]

7. Your website establishes your place in your industry. [Your presence in the web space increases your and your business’ visibility. In my case, as my writings get published in my professional society’s Body of Knowledge (BoK), the publisher typically points to my website at the end of the articles (see it as well at the end of this blog). I maintain my website; I think my credibility will suffer if the reader clicked my hyperlink and it turned out it’s a broken link/no longer available.]

8. A website is no longer intimidating to create and manage. [In fact, if you don’t yet have the time and skills to create one, TTCAds.com can fast-track your web presence starting with very affordable ads, and publish your marketing materials in a dedicated page just for you and your business. This can be a good start, a transition with the end goal of you having your own fully functional site.]

9. A website ensures your success over the long term. [Online orders for your physical products, or remote work/knowledge/professional services will increase your revenue and grow your business.]

10. You can get all [or at least some] of these benefits without spending a fortune.

Dianna’s full-length post contains affiliate links, which means that if you clicked on one of the links and then purchased a product or service, themeisle will receive a commission. It won’t cost you more, you pay the same standard price, regardless of whether you found the vendor directly on your own or through themeisle.

TTCAds.com will not benefit financially if you visit themeisle’s web site or any of the links therein.

Our service to you is to help your ads reach more people, and for your websites to get more unique visitors/customers, and in-person traffic to your brick and mortar business address whichever is applicable.
